Forewords on Trac+Darcs
This is an instance of a tailorized version of Trac: it follows the /trunk of the upstream Subversion repository, diverging from that slightly, to accomodate a DarcsBackend that allows you to watch a Darcs repository instead of a Subversion one.
Tailor VersionOne
Tailor is a tool to keep in sync repositories from various version control systems, preserving history. It works for CVS, Subversion, Darcs, and (still partially) ArX, Monotone, Codeville, Bazaar-NG, Tla and Mercurial.
It was written by Lele and it is implemented in Python.
More information are available on the Tailor page on Darcs wiki.
How to get
You can fetch a copy of Tailor sources in two ways:
- Using darcs to get a current snapshot of them directly from master repository:
darcs get --partial http://darcs.arstecnica.it/tailor
Omit the --partial flag if you really want the whole history.
- Obtaining the tarball of the last tagged and released version, from http://darcs.arstecnica.it/
